A weighty wine stopper with enough authority to truly pause the pour.

Natural cork stopper
Polished Steel or Brass
Sphere or Dome shaped topper

There comes a point in almost any evening where the wine must be stopped, at least for a little while. In this state of intermission, the conversation should continue to flow, even if the wine doesn’t. Enter the Mass Bottle Stopper. It puts a definitive pause on the pour, but its polished orb or dome-shaped topper draws the eye, sets the mind in motion, and elicits commentary that can elevate even small talk to medium talk and above. When it’s time for the festivities to resume, the Mass Bottle Stopper’s substantial heft will mimic the weight of the decision being made. Another glass? Another anecdote? Only you can make that choice, but we can provide the pause. Designed by Fort Standard and presented by Craighill, the Mass Bottle Stopper is available in Polished Steel and Polished Brass, with a natural cork stopper base.

Note: The Dome variants of the Mass Bottle Stopper will ship by mid-October.
