The Match Striker is destined to become central to your combustion-focused rituals. Whether you're setting a mood with incense, creating ambience with candles, or building a mighty blaze – it all starts with a flick of the wrist. Crafted from carbon steel with electroplated black zinc, the Match Striker is surprisingly dense and serves as a nice anchor against which to create a spark. The exterior surface features a deep knurling pattern, which provides the necessary friction to bring it all together.

Note: Works only with strike anywhere matches (not included). Matches will leave residue after use, which can be easily removed with a damp cloth.

Note for international customers: Please be sure you are able to obtain strike anywhere matches, as our Match Striker won’t work without them.

CAREFUL - you may not be able to buy the right matches for this

This is beautiful, but it REQUIRES "strike anywhere" matches which are now illegal to buy in 7 states due to how hot they burn and can cause injury to people. You will not find strike-anywhere matches in California, Alaska, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Ohio, Virgina, or New Jersy (nor can you buy them online and ship to these states). source: https://worldpopulationreview.com/state-rankings/strike-anywhere-matches-illegal-states

So, if you live in any of those seven states, don't buy this product. If you live in the other states, don't buy the matches online, just buy them from a local store, but be careful. Even after using the match, the tip will be so hot it can burn you or damage your tabletop or whatever you set it down on.

Solid Hefty Quality

The most notable thing about this match striker is just how heavy it is. So incredibly dense and I love the feel of it in your hand. You do need to get strike anywhere matches because the surface is not rough enough to light a regular match. You can find them at ACE hardware but surprisingly not on Amazon. The knurled surface provides just enough friction to light the strike anywhere matches so maybe the one minor gripe is the knurling could stand to be a touch rougher. Still, it's a premium product that will last forever.

Unbelievably satisfying way to light a match!!! And beautiful too!
