Chroma Scissors have been designed to maximize shear force, providing crisp cuts and reducing needless wear. Should sharpening become necessary, we’d recommend taking them to a professional knife-sharpener, who will have access to the proper tools.

The Chroma Scissors are optimized for right-handed use, but many left-handed users still find them comfortable and effective.

SYMMETRY IS BLISS
A lot of scissors have asymmetrical blade profiles, namely those designed specifically to cut fabric or leather. That’s great for those cases, but we wanted to create a more adaptable, universally usable pair, so the Chroma Scissors wound up with a symmetrical blade profile.
No More Hard Shoulders
On too many pairs of metal scissors, there’s a hard line where the blade meets the base of the handle, thanks to the usual grinding process. Instead of settling for that, we opted for a smooth arc transition, a detail we borrowed from our Rook Knife. It’s a small improvement, but we think it’s worth it.
SHEAR BEAUTY
Scissors don’t slice — they shear. That’s why blade angle and curvature were such an important point of focus for us when designing the Chroma Scissors. Their twin blades curve slightly inward, ensuring that they remain in contact throughout the entire course of a cut.
