I wonder whether the hinges will hold up. It seems that the hinges could easily be bent when the lid is opened. However, all in all, a nice case (I carry my license, a few shopping cards, and a credit card in it).

They put some kind of coating on the brass so it doesn’t get any actual patina. All the brass from Craighill in my experience doesn’t patina. So if you’re looking for something that patinas this is NOT it.. unless you maybe wetsand off the coating or something. But to me I was a little bummed that it doesn’t get that darker brown patina like the rest of my brass stuff.
Great high quality stuff but I think you’re missing the point of why people like brass Craig hill.. I left 5 stars because I know they remove bad reviews. It’s still a good product but if I could really review it I’d give it 3 stars for design 1 star for materials and 5 stars for construction. Overall 3 stars realistically..
