Nice puzzle, though tolerances could be a little tighter. I also think it would look better if it was all one material (one color).

The Tycho puzzle quality is outstanding. When they say it's over a pound, it's for real. The sold steel and brass construction is milled and polished perfectly. It's costly, yes, but something you can have and display for a lifetime.

Neat distraction when phone calls run on a little too long.

Let's start from disadvantages: it has a really sharp edges. They are so sharp that you can cut yourself. It disassembles by itself if taken in certain places.

Advantages: it has a stunning look when assembled. Pretty nice to display on your shelf, it attracts attention. Really good machining quality. It is still satisfying to assemble parts together, reminds a bit an jigsaw puzzle. However, Wavelinks, Tetra and Venn are much more closer to ideal puzzle. They are my favorites. However, I am happy to have Tycho in my collection.
