Our take on the classic spinning top, the Tracer Top is our first explicitly kinetic toy. Inspired by a single droplet colliding with a body of water, the Tracer’s design is an evocative rendering of an otherwise impermanent form. But it’s not just nice to look at — it was specifically engineered to defy the forces of friction and gravity for long, satisfying spins. Colored pips provide grip for heightened spin control in the hand, and generate a hypnotic visual effect while in motion.

It spins for so long!

I love this top. On my polyurethane finished bench, it spun for over 4 minutes the first time. In fact, as I write this, it's been spinning. I didn't have an Invar Cubic Inch for scale in my photo so I used the Chroma Scissors for perspective!
