It feels weighty in the hand. It's easy to write with and feels good to hold. Build quality feels good.
My main issue is caused by the assembly that holds the pen cartridge. It floats pretty loosely in external cylinder that is held in the hand. When the pen is clicked the loose tolerances cause the assembly to rub against the external cylinder. At the best, this can cause a scratchy feeling as the metal rubs together. This can be helped with a bit of grease. But at worst something in the locking mechanism will catch and cause a crunchy uneven click.
For me a strong tactile experience is the main draw of a high end pen like this. The design of the internals is a flawed in a way that really dampers that experience. At the price point I find this disappointing.
