Mechanical puzzles have been in existence for hundreds of years, but we started designing them ourselves in 2016. We initially developed the Jack Puzzle as a lark—done mostly to entertain ourselves, and only producing a small handful. It was never something we expected to gain traction, but upon its release a small and enthusiastic audience quickly formed.

We followed it up with the Venn Puzzle in 2018. Our first foray into crowdfunding, this was the moment we realized we might be onto something.

And in 2019 we launched the Tycho Puzzle, which is now available here on our site for the first time. Our most successful product launch to date, it has cemented these captivating objects as flagships of our product offerings and a powerful statement of our commitment to ingenuity and wonder as core values of our company.

All three puzzles are beautiful, hefty, challenging, and amusing. They offer an all too rare opportunity to unplug from technology and meditate on something physically satisfying, simple enough to understand, yet still tricky to solve.
