The Santoku Knife is drop forged by expert craftsmen, aligning the steel on a molecular level in a manner that lends increased strength, hardness, sharpness, and overall durability. The drop forging process of the Santoku Knife leads to unique patterning on the hilt of each knife, resulting in a sort of fingerprint level of individuality that can only come from the labor-intensive, hand-finished nature of this piece.
Designed in Copenhagen, this Santoku Knife is handmade by artisans in the traditional knife forging town of Solingen, Germany.
